Justice for migration visa scam and fake Healthcare Sponsorship
We have received reports of Visa scams that target people hoping to enter the UK, and unfortunately, there have been a rise in this case in recent times particularly in high-demand fields like care work. These scammers may impersonate legitimate companies, or they may be agents acting on behalf of phoney companies charging hefty fees for fake job offers or visa processing that never materializes, some even manage to sponsor people to work, only for the people to arrive in the UK to discover there is no work available.
This visa scam has been largely successful because the scammers have targeted people from countries with limited job opportunities, who are willing to pay a premium for a chance at a better life. Many of them are now in the UK with no work, no means of livelihood and fear of reporting to the authorities for fear of a backlash.
If you’re a victim of the visa scam, here are some resources that could be of help:
- Report the scam: You can report a visa scam to the UK government.
- Citizens Advice: This free service offers confidential advice on immigration issues, including scams.
- The Home Office: The UK government department responsible for immigration has information on genuine visa applications
As a company, we are saying this sort of scam in plain sight is unacceptable. It undermines the work we do; it undermines the social care and health sector, we have also taken this upon ourselves to help get justice for victims.
We are working closely with a top immigration solicitor in the UK to see how all the stolen funds are returned to these innocent people, and furthermore, to see that all perpetrators of this phoney schemes face the full wrath of the law.
